Considering that the 1970's Major League Baseball has utilized what is known as a designated player in the American League. The designated player, or DH for brief, is a gamer in the lineup whose only task is to strike in the place of another player. The DH is allowed to strike for any other hitter in the lineup, allowing the gamer who is not hittin
